George Bessenyei

George Bessenyei
CEO, Founder, and Chairman of the Board

Before George started YoCierge, he spent over 20 years advising law firms, insurance companies, and banks about technology both in the U.S. and Switzerland. A computer programmer by training, he has always been focused on how to apply the latest technologies to improve the efficiency of the business process.

Prior to founding YoCierge, George started multiple technology companies in the hardware and software space, serving professional service providers.

George holds an MBA from Oxford as well as multiple information security and HIPAA-related certifications. He also teaches attorneys about information security and HIPAA as part of the company's CLE courses.

George lives in Wayne, PA with his wife and two daughters.

Rob Satterthwaite is a founder, managing partner, and portfolio manager of Blue Sea Investments, LLC, an event-driven long/short public-equity fund. Prior to co-founding Blue Sea, Rob was a litigation partner in the law firm of Russ August & Kabat, where he specialized in patent and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Russ August & Kabat, he was associated with the law firm of Munger Tolles & Olson, LLP, where he specialized in commercial litigation and internal investigations of Fortune 500 Companies. Prior to joining Munger Tolles & Olson, Rob served as a law clerk to two federal judges: Cynthia Holcomb Hall, United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Wm. Matthew Byrne, Jr., United States District Court Judge for the Central District of California.

Rob attended UCLA, receiving a B.S. in Biology, and the USC School of Law, where he graduated first in his class, was elected to the Order of the Coif, served as a member of the USC Law Review, and was awarded the Arthur Manella Scholarship, a scholarship presented to one first-year law student annually on the basis of scholastic achievement. Rob currently resides on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California, along with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he can often be found in the ocean or on the roads training for an upcoming triathlon.

John J. Grimley

John has worked in various Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Institutional Sales roles over the past 23 years. During that time, John has helped build and maintain relationships with some of the largest and most successful institutional investors in the U.S. for firms including Citi, Deutsche Bank and Janney Montgomery. John started his career at Alex. Brown and Sons in Baltimore where he developed a passion for working with and investing in growth companies.

John was a 4 year member of the men's rowing team that won two national championships at Brown University and is a member of the 1993 team that was inducted into the Brown Athletic Hall of Fame. John has completed 10 marathons but gave up running due to a fight with Lyme Disease. John enjoys yoga and swimming and has been practicing Meditation for 7 years. John's is a grateful husband, and a father of 3 children.

Martin O. Tanner is a founder, managing partner, and portfolio manager of Blue Sea Investments, LLC, an event-driven long/short public-equity fund. For the past ten years, Blue Sea has focused heavily on investments in the pharmaceutical and medical device spaces.

Prior to founding Blue Sea Investments, Martin led the Corporate Development Group for Micron Technology, Inc., a Fortune 500 semiconductor manufacturer. In this role, Martin was responsible for M&A, venture investments, performance improvement projects, market research, and competitive intelligence. Prior to his association with Micron, Martin was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he led strategy and operational improvement projects, primarily for high-tech clients in the US, Asia, and Latin America.

Martin attended UCLA, receiving B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering, the latter two as a Fellow of the Semiconductor Research Corporation. He holds two US Patents and has authored or coauthored over 30 papers and presentations on semiconductor materials and device physics. Martin is an avid distance-runner who lives in Goleta, California with his wife and two children.
