Frequently, records undergo multiple rounds of faxing, resulting in duplicated copies that are subsequently scanned before reaching us. When subjected to traditional OCR, these records yield suboptimal outcomes, rendering the text layer in the PDF files practically unusable. This challenge intensifies when dealing with handwritten content.
To surmount this obstacle, we've seamlessly integrated artificial intelligence into the OCR process, achieving remarkable success. Our advanced system now accurately recognizes even low-quality pages with font sizes below 8. Although handwriting remains a challenge, we've made substantial strides in overcoming this hurdle.
Noteworthy is the fact that the enhanced OCR process demands significantly more computing resources compared to the traditional approach.
